It’s time to put in your request for PTO and make your travel plans because the total solar eclipse of April 8, 2024, will be a once-in-a-lifetime event. The last time this city saw one was back in 1878. Dallas is in the path of totality so all around the city will be prime viewing opportunities.
Many bars, hotels, and restaurants are offering special events that day, most with a ticket fee or for the cost of lunch, while others are open to the public for free. Eater Dallas has collected a few and will continue to update this map, taking events off as they sell out and adding cool new ones as we hear about them.
