If you’re still searching for tickets to see the incomparable Taylor Swift in her sold out Eras tour this weekend at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, you might be in luck.

Atlanta restaurant non-profit Giving Kitchen is currently auctioning off two floor tickets to Saturday’s show on April 29 at the Benz. Proceeds from the auction go to benefit the Giving Kitchen, which has been assisting restaurant workers in crisis around Atlanta and parts of the Southeast for a decade.

Online bidding, which is already north of $6,000 for the section F, row 2 seats, closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 26. Highest bid wins. But, again, proceeds from the charity auction benefit restaurant workers in need.

In 2019, Giving Kitchen received the James Beard Foundation’s humanitarian of the year award presented annually to organizations or individuals working to benefit the restaurant community.

During the acceptance speech, Giving Kitchen co-founder Jen Hidinger-Kendrick recalled the day that sparked the idea behind the nonprofit. Her late husband, chef Ryan Hidinger, died in 2014 following a two-year battle with gall bladder cancer. He was 35. A year prior to his death, the Atlanta restaurant industry and diners rallied around the couple and threw a benefit to offset the costs of Hidinger’s cancer treatments. The benefit raised over $300,000. Hidinger asked that the funds from the event went to “help others like me.”

Between the annual Team Hidi benefits, individual and corporate donations, and other community events, Giving Kitchen has awarded more than $8 million in financial aid to over 123,000 restaurant workers in need throughout the last decade.
