Tiffany Derry, the chef and co-owner of Roots Southern Table in Farmer’s Branch, is at it again. She’ll join Bobby Flay on the premiere of his Triple Threat Throwdown cooking show on the Food Network on Tuesday, September 27.

Derry is one of the show’s “chef-titans” who will face off against upstart competitors — the other two are Brooke Williamson of Playa Provisions in Playa Del Rey, CA and Top Chef Michael Voltaggio.

In a video teasing the show, Flay says that Derry was invited on thanks to her “amazing command of upscale Southern cuisine,” but notes that her world travels are her “secret” that competitors won’t see coming.

Derry shared an Instagram teasing the show and letting Dallasites know Roots Southern Table is hosting a watch party for the first episode of the six-episode series. Tickets are $100 per person, and the VIP experience, which goes from 6:15 to 10 p.m., includes a conversation with Derry and the Roots team, light appetizers, wine, and zero-proof cocktail options. It’s an intimate space, so make your reservation now.
