Christmas is almost here, which means it’s time to order a pie or 10. Boston is full of restaurants and bakeries offering pies for the holiday season. Below, find some sweet pie and tart options available for preordering in and around the city, in a wide variety of flavors and with various dietary restrictions accommodated. 7ate9 Bakery
199C Highland Ave., Somerville

You’re welcome to debate whether cheesecake counts as pie, but better yet, why not just order one or several for the holidays? Flavors include peppermint mocha, orange cranberry, and more, available in several sizes (including mini). Order online for pickup or delivery at least 48 hours in advance.

Alcove
50 Lovejoy Wharf, West End, Boston

Alcove’s Christmas Day takeout options include a lemon meringue tart ($30); pair it with a dozen holiday cookies ($20). Preorder online for pickup on December 25; several time slots are available in the late morning and early afternoon.

Bakers’ Best Catering
150 Gould St., Needham

Bakers’ Best’s holiday dessert selection includes apple, blueberry, pecan, and pumpkin pies ($29 each), which each serve eight to 10. (In the “not really pie but pie is in the name” category, there are also red velvet whoopie pies available.) Big Heart Hospitality
Fool’s Errand, 1377 Boylston St., Fenway

The restaurant group is offering various holiday catering options from Orfano and Sweet Cheeks, which can be picked up between noon and 6 p.m. on December 23 at sibling spot Fool’s Errand. There are three nine-inch pie options at $35 apiece: grasshopper pie, egg nog cream pie, and turtle pie. Order online by 3 p.m. on December 19.

Blackbird Doughnuts
Various locations around Boston, Cambridge, and Newton

The local doughnut chain is making three doughnut pies for the holidays ($32 each), such as the gingerbread doughnut pie: gingerbread doughnuts in a graham cracker crust with brown sugar filling, ginger glaze, and sprinkles. Order online for pickup, local delivery via DoorDash, or shipping.

Blue Frog Bakery
3 Green St., Jamaica Plain, Boston

Blue Frog is offering pumpkin, sweet potato, cherry crumb, and more pies this Christmas ($20-$25), for pickup December 20 through 24; order in person or by phone — (617) 983-3764.

Capo
443 W. Broadway, South Boston

Head to South Boston to pick up a pie on December 24 between noon and 3 p.m.; online ordering is open now. Flavors include banoffee, chocolate cream, and more. Prices start at $30. Optionally add gelato pints, vanilla bean whipped cream, and/or drinks such as a margarita jug and a DIY mulled wine kit.

Drive-By Pies
248 Cypress St., Brookline

Order a pie for December 23 pickup in Brookline or Reading; flavors include apple cranberry crumb, pear salted caramel, coconut cream, chocolate pecan, and more. There are a couple gluten-free options, too — blueberry and pumpkin. Nine-inch pie prices range from $22 to $25, but there are also mini five-inch pies in a few flavors for $9.25 apiece.

Earnest Drinks / Gracie’s Ice Cream
399 Binney St., Kendall Square, Cambridge

Why get regular pie when you can get ice cream pie? Gracie’s default version ($28), which feeds six to 12 people, comes with an Oreo crust, hot fudge topping, and Oreo topping, but you can inquire about other options. These typically take about four hours to make, so don’t wait until the very last minute to order.

Flour
Multiple locations in Boston and Cambridge

Flour is offering a wide variety of savory and sweet options for Christmas for a la carte ordering, and there are a few items in the pie family on the menu, including lemon meringue pie (standard [$36] or gluten-free [$41]) and chocolate orange tart ($30). (There are other sweet treats available, too, including Flour’s famous sticky buns.) Order by 4 p.m. on December 20 for pickup at any location on December 23 or 24; many items are also available for pickup earlier in the month with five days notice.

Fornax Bread Company
27 Corinth St., Roslindale, Boston

Fornax doesn’t just specialize in bread: There are pies, too, including apple, chocolate espresso, and pear cranberry, not to mention tarts like apple cranberry with streusel. They’re priced between $16 and $30, depending on size and type. Consult the menu and order by phone or email by the end of the day on December 18; a 50% deposit will be required. Pickups are available on December 23 and 24.

Honeycomb
248 Bay Rd., Hamilton

The bakery’s holiday selection includes black bottom pecan pie, banoffee pie, and more ($34). Order by December 16 for pickup between 7 a.m. and noon on December 24.

Jennifer Lee’s Bakery
Boston Public Market, 100 Hanover St., Downtown Boston; 127 Cambridge St., Worcester

All of Jennifer Lee’s baked goods are vegan and free of top allergens (gluten, eggs, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, and sesame); most items are also coconut-free. This year’s holiday menu includes nine-inch apple crumble and pumpkin pies ($25) and lots of other sweet treats. Order by 3 p.m. on December 15 for pickup in Boston or Worcester on December 23 or 24; preorders for Worcester are required, while preorders for Boston are encouraged but not required. There will also be a pickup available at Timberyard Brewing Company in East Brookfield on December 19, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lavender Bee Baking Co.
Monumental Market, 36 South St., Jamaica Plain, Boston

The nut- and peanut-free bakery is offering several pies for holiday preorder, $30 each: sweet potato, gluten-free chocolate cream, and pumpkin, as well as a six-pack of vegan apple turnovers and some other treats. Order online by December 20; pickup is available from December 16 through December 23.

New City Microcreamery
403 Massachusetts Ave., Central Square, Cambridge; 28 Main St., Hudson

Another option for ice cream pies: New City is serving peppermint stick, apple, and pecan ice cream pies ($35 each). Order online by December 20 for pickup December 22 to 24 at either location.

Petsi Pies
285 Beacon St., Somerville

The local mainstay in the pie scene is offering a variety of 10-inch pies ($30-$32 each) for the holiday (each meant to feed six to eight), available for pickup from December 16 through 31: peppermint chocolate cream, pumpkin praline, and more. There are also smaller sizes available for many of the pies, starting at $8 for five-inch pies that feed one or two. Several vegan pies are available, too. Order online by December 20.

Seabiscuit
256 Marginal St., East Boston

Now open in the longtime KO Pies space in East Boston and carrying on its Australian meat pie tradition, Seabiscuit is offering nine-inch sweet pies for $20 (pecan, cherry crumble) as well as savory meat pies (beef stew, lamb shank, and more) for pickup and local delivery on December 23 and 24. Order online.

Southern Kin Cookhouse
500 Assembly Row, Somerville

During the holiday season, order pies for delivery via Grubhub or Uber Eats or call (617) 764-5966 to pick up at the restaurant. Southern Kin typically offers pies such as pecan, key lime, and pumpkin for $34-$36.

Summer Shack
50 Dalton St., Back Bay, Boston; 149 Alewife Brook Parkway, Cambridge

In addition to mini lobster rolls, lobster pot pie, and more, Summer Shack is serving apple, pecan, and pumpkin pies for $25 each. Order online for pickup at either location on December 23, 24, or 31.

Stillwater
120 Kingston St., downtown Boston

The downtown restaurant is focusing on sides and desserts for its holiday options, including candy cane Oreo pie and egg nog pie ($25 each). Order online for pickup beginning at 11 a.m. on December 24.

Verrill Farm
11 Wheeler Rd., Concord

The Concord farm’s Christmas menu includes several pies: pecan, Kentucky bourbon pecan, apple, and more ($20-$22), with a couple gluten-free options available, too ($27). Order by 5 p.m. on December 19 for curbside pickup on December 23 or 24.

Violette Bakers
1786 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge

This fully gluten-free bakery is offering several pies on its Christmas menu ($32-$45), including dairy-free chocolate pecan pie, vegan mixed berry pie, ricotta pie, and more. Pickup is available from December 20 through 24; order online by noon the day before your desired pickup.

Zia Gianna
1739 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester

The Italian cafe is offering cannoli cheesecake and “nonna’s pie” (lemon pie crust with lemon pastry cream) for the holidays; each is $24 and serves six to eight. Call (617) 436-2368 by December 19 to order for pickup between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on December 23.
