There’s perhaps no trendier beverage than the aperitif. It’s been said that millennials aren’t interested in wine (or at least not as interested as their parents’ generation) and a growing movement towards more mindful consumption of alcohol may mean that drinking is on the downswing generally. But the aperitif, those low-ABV beverages that work for sipping or in cocktails, is a category that just keeps growing. New brands are making their product available to purchase directly from their websites, and producers that have long been staples at aperitif hours (in places where that’s actually a thing) are offering recent bottlings.
