It may feel like we’re circling back to earlier pandemic days in some terrible ways — another winter COVID wave, resulting grocery store shortages — but Jeni’s is bringing back one thing from 2021 that made a whole bunch of people happy, or at least momentarily delighted: Dolly Parton ice cream.
Last year, fans of both ice cream and Parton crashed the Jeni’s site as they attempted to purchase the strawberry pretzel pie pints. On second thought, the collaboration also left a whole bunch of people disappointed. But, Jeni’s is bringing it back for another limited period of time with proceeds once again benefitting Dolly’s Imagination Library. And this year people can preorder their pints along with Dolly’s latest album Run, Rose, Run (with a bonus track only available at Jeni’s). If the ice cream goes quickly, there should at least be enough of those download links to go around.
Graza olive oil, an Oreo slipper, and a Campbell's candle
- In another covetable matchup, Champion has teamed up with Oreo to mark the iconic cookie’s 110th year of existence. There are sweatshirts and sweatpants, slides and slippers. Like Oreos themselves, the merch is probably best had in multiples.
- In a pairing of a different sort, the Art of Tea is selling a new matcha cocoa. Right now, you can opt to order it with matcha marshmallows for an especially cozy caffeinated winter drink.
- There’s a new DTC olive oil brand FYC. Graza launched with one finishing oil and one meant for cooking, designed to be affordable enough for liberal use in the kitchen. Both versions come in fun squeeze bottles too, and after receiving a sample, I’m ready to make the Sizzle bottle a go-to.
- The newest offering from bottled cocktail and aperitif brand St. Agrestis is the Phony Negroni. It’s the brand’s first nonalcoholic beverage.
- Tomato candles may be old hat at this point, but tomato soup candles? Those are something else. And Campbell’s is hoping they’re something people will be interested in buying and smelling. The brand partnered with Camp on a tomato soup and grilled cheese candle and a chicken noodle soup candle. Naturally, they come in what looks like soup cans.
- If you have yet to receive the perfect pair of salad servers, good! Because you can buy these new Selena Liu-designed servers from Areaware. There are three styles, all made of beechwood: flowers, hands, or wavy forks.
